Switching to 'Demo mode'
To switch your GolfBuddy device to demo mode, you must first be on the "Searching For Satellite Screen". From there, tap the "DEMO" button to enter demo mode. This will allow you to view the Play Mode while away from the golf course and familiarise yourself with the device when a satellite signal is unreachable.
Demo mode can also be activated from the Play Screen. Press the menu button and select "Demo On". You can then familiarise yourself with the device using the simulated numbers that appear on the screen. If you press the "Cancel" button, the distance number will change as if you are moving on the field.

Changing the distance unit
For the Golf Buddy Voice 2 model, first, access the settings menu by selecting the button with a cog wheel on it. This button is usually found in the bottom left corner of the screen. Next, use the buttons on the right of the device to navigate to the unit setting. You should now be able to change the units from meters to yards or vice versa.
If you are using the Golf Course mode on your Golf Buddy watch, it is suggested that you exit this mode and enter the Watch Mode. This is because the settings can only be changed while in Watch Mode. Resetting the Golf Buddy
To reset your Golf Buddy device, you can perform an emergency reboot. This will restore your device to factory settings.
Firstly, open the battery cover and locate the small hole underneath a black plastic sticker on the bottom right of the unit. Remove the sticker and insert a narrow object, such as the tip of a paper clip, into the hole. Press and hold down the reset button inside, then connect the data cable.
