What You'll Learn

Press the S button three times for each shot
Mastering the perfect shot in Everybody's Golf involves pressing the button three times at the right moment. This is known as the triple-tap system. The first step is to set up your shot. The game will show the ball's general trajectory, excluding external factors like wind and terrain. When you're ready, press the button to activate your shot. A horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen will move to the left, and the further left it goes, the stronger your shot will be. Once the bar is full, it will move back to the right, and you must time your second press to determine the power of your shot. The final press will impact the meter and determine the outcome.
You can also use the triple-tap system to add topspin or sidespin to your shots. To get topspin, tap up on the d-pad at the point of impact (third click). This lowers the trajectory of the shot and increases the carry when the ball hits the ground, giving you extra distance. Sidespin is achieved by tapping left or right on the d-pad at the point of impact (third click). Press right if you want the ball to hook to the left, and vice versa. Sidespin is useful for navigating the natural curve of a hole or avoiding obstacles.
Additionally, you can perform a super backspin by tapping up on the d-pad when setting the power (second click) and then tapping down on the d-pad when setting the impact (third click). This technique provides a stronger spin on the ball, allowing even woods to perform a super backspin shot.

How to unlock Melissa
To unlock Melissa in Everybody's Golf, you will need to score three condors in official rounds. This is no easy feat, as there are only a few holes where it is possible to score a condor: Alpine Forest hole 12, Eagle City hole 3, and Kanaloa Beach hole 17. Moreover, even on these holes, specific weather conditions and tee lengths are required.
To increase your chances of success, you can repeat the same hole on an Open Course until you get the desired result. It is recommended to refer to guides such as Absolute Finesse for tips on scoring a condor. Additionally, you can unlock better clubs and balls to improve your performance. For example, the Big Air clubs increase distance, the Pin Hole club improves control, the Turbo Spin club boosts backspin, and the Infinity Club enhances both power and control.
Once you have achieved the required number of condors, you will be able to challenge Melissa, the former captain of Team Almighty. The match will take place on Imperial Garden, using Championship Tees. There will be penalties for landing in the rough or bunkers, and Teeny Cups will be in play, adding to the challenge. Melissa will also be using a custom club. If you can defeat her, you will unlock her character, along with her parts and voiceover.
It is worth noting that the servers for Everybody's Golf have been shut down as of September 30, 2022, so any online features and trophies are no longer accessible. However, you can still enjoy the game offline and work towards unlocking Melissa as a playable character.

Fishing Tips
To unlock fishing, you need to defeat Kato in Rank 4. Once you do, you can rent fishing equipment. To catch the rare fish, you need to defeat Kato in a revenge VS match, which will allow you to rent the best bait and rods.
A useful tip for getting strong bites is to press about a second after the float sinks. Then, tap to reel in, but be careful not to let the bar get full, or your line will break. The tension bar will increase as you level up, with the maximum level for fishing being 30.

How to catch rare fish
To catch rare fish in Everybody's Golf, you must first unlock the ability to fish by defeating Rank 4 character Kato in a match. This will also allow you to rent fishing equipment. However, to catch the rarest fish, you must defeat Kato again in a revenge VS match, which will grant you access to the best bait in the game.
It is recommended that you wait until you have beaten Kato twice and obtained the upgraded bait before you start fishing, as this will save you time. With the upgraded bait, you will only have to fish each pond once, and you will be able to catch harder-to-find and rarer fish.
Once you have the right bait, you will also need a decent fishing level to keep rare fish on the line. A fishing level of around 25 is recommended for the rarest fish.
The fishing mechanics in Everybody's Golf are fairly simple. To cast your line, stand in front of the water, press and hold the button, and then release. Once the float sinks, press the button again to hook a fish. The timing of your button press will determine the strength of the bite, which will give you a certain amount of time before the fish gets away (25, 30, or 45 seconds for weak, normal, or strong bites, respectively). After hooking the fish, tap the button to reel it in, but be careful not to let the tension bar fill up, or your line will break.
Some examples of rare fish in Everybody's Golf include the Arowana, Sturgeon, Alligator Gar, Tricolor Koi Carp, and Sakhalin Taimen. These fish can be found in various locations, such as the Vortex Valley G.C., Pine Hills G.C., Eagle City G.C., and Akigase Keikoku C.C. courses.

How to beat Kato
Beating Kato in Everybody's Golf will require some patience and skill. Kato is an eccentric older fisherman and golfer, and you will encounter him in Rank 4.
To unlock the ability to fish, you must first beat Kato in a Revenge VS match. He will challenge you to a golf match, and if you win, he will teach you how to fish. The match will take place on the 9H (IN) of Course 3, so be mindful of the sea, which is close by, and avoid hitting any OBs into it.
By beating Kato, you will unlock two extra bait pieces, which are needed to catch the rare fish to fill out your encyclopedia. These rare fish may also drop rare Triple Precision Balls, which will help you level up your clubs.
If you have plenty of coins, invest in the best rod and bait you can afford. You will need the deluxe bait to catch the rare fish, which can only be obtained by defeating Kato.
Once you have beaten Kato, you can unlock the fishing mini-game and start fishing at your home ground and the online courses.
