Alternatively, every time you play a round in stroke play format outside of Career Mode, you will automatically be offered suitable opponents to challenge (unless you have disabled this feature in the Settings). Either way, whenever you complete a round in stroke play format outside of Career Mode, your best score is automatically stored for other players to compete against.
Caddie sharing is also possible in Rival Mode. Grid and its use when putting
Putting in Powerstar Golf can be challenging, but the grid can help you make the right decisions. When putting, the grid on the green illustrates the severity of the slopes and inclines. The grid's lines feature moving dots that indicate the severity of the slope for different parts of the green. The colour of the grid also indicates this severity: red patches are steep, while green patches are close to flat.
