Unlocking characters in Mario Golf 64
Mario Golf 64 was released in 1999 on the Nintendo 64 and features a roster of classic Mushroom Kingdom characters and human one-off characters. The game has 14 playable characters, but only four are unlocked at the beginning.
To unlock the other characters, you need to challenge them in the Get Character mode. Defeating them will unlock them for play. Some characters require a different set of criteria to unlock.
