The children's course
Once the player has completed the introductory race and fish-feeding challenges, they can proceed to play on the children's course. The player must use Precision Mode or Close Shot (press R2) to keep from overshooting the greens. The player must win more holes than Lara to complete this challenge. Lara will throw a fit and start digging up the course with her club, which will draw the attention of an archaeologist.
The archaeologist will show the player how to dig in a mound of dirt using the Digging Wedge, which can be purchased from the Lurker Valley Pro Shop. The player will then dig up a treasure chest, and the archaeologist will give the player a tracker, which fills in a circle the closer it is to a buried treasure. There are four treasures located in various areas of the course, including the center of the bone formation northeast of a group of people and the northwest area in the deep rough behind a sand bunker.
The final location of the treasures has the missing Idol that the turtles were upset about. Once the player has the Idol in their possession, they must return it to the girl standing outside the Pro Shop to unlock the 9-hole Lurker Valley Course.
